The Fine Wooden Article Company
An exquisite dining table & bench, inspired by the intricate grain and sheer intensity of colours throughout the english yew wood slabs and then with transparent grey-tinted resin and metallic detailing creates sheer opulence.
Hand polished to a glass like finish and fitted with cast iron metal legs.
The elegance of the natural edges & beautifully figured Yew is something to behold.
There are many time consuming processes and artistic skills employed in making with this Yew and indeed the epoxy. We feel the effect is amazing and we are so excited to make and offer this completely unique pieces of functional art.
This piece was inspired by a local tree here in Gloucestershire, which is documented to have been planted circa 1750 and felled in 2009. The table & benches are a natural centre piece for any interior and a delight to the touch. This is truly a design from the heart, which we would be happy to adapt for another space.
These can be made by commission and will be tailored to your design specifics. Price shown here is for this table and bench as shown. Please do get in touch if you have another vision for a piece made from this Yew as we would delight in making you vision a reality.

Alternative leg sets are available: A Frame steel box and powder coated or heavy duty Hair Pin legs for example. Please see the phots showing the A Frame example.
