Pippy Oak Mirror (full length)

An exquisite full length Pippy Oak Mirror, full of the textured character of the natural wood. 

An elegant feature in a bedroom or a dressing room, leant against a wall, or hung either portrait or landscape.

This design is inspired by the character and features of the original pieces of wood we work with. After selecting the finest Pippy Oak, we mill, handcraft and then oil it so as to highlight its beautiful figuring, before attaching mirror glass.

Please note that as we work with the natural shape of the oak, no two mirrors are identical. Equally, whilst there is variation in the width of the oak board, we keep its maximum width just under 12” to maintain the aesthetically pleasing proportion between mirror and wood frame.

Bonded to the rear of the glass is 9mm of plywood, and a suitable sized framing of oak is jointed to the edge of the oak, mirror and plywood to further increase aesthetics capping the  visible plywood edges and strength to the whole assembly.

SPECIFICATIONS

Made from sustainably sourced solid Pippy Oak stock.

We use only the best grade mirror: 6mm, low iron, silver-backed Pilkington Opti-mirror.

We are happy to supply you with hanging kit, however, due to the weight of this mirror & for safety reasons, should you wish to hang it we strongly advise a careful assessment of the wall beforehand.

The hanging kit we provide here is custom made from 4mm stainless steel wire and with solid wooden 'Button Mushroom" fittings attached to the mirror for either landscape or portrait hanging. Plus also an extra pair of 'Button Mushroom' hanging brackets for your wall. 

Whilst the hanging kit is an optional product provided with this mirror, it must be noted that it is the clients responsibility to ensure that all necessary safety considerations are factored for before hanging, and to seek advice from a trade professional if necessary.
