Vintage Ash & Oak Free Standing Bookshelf

An elegant free-standing Solid Oak bookshelf made from a vintage set of Ash decorator’s trestles, detailed with contrasting Walnut dowels.

This is a piece full of woodcraft detail: having stood the test of time, the trestle steps with their wrought-iron strap hinges are full of character. Each of the four solid oak shelves are fitted in a traditional way with walnut dowels, adding a subtle character to a design that is otherwise contemporary in feel.

The wood has been sanded and professionally finished with Danish oil.

Note that due to provenance, every trestle step differs slightly and variation may occur between items.
