A beautiful hand-crafted English London Plane coffee table. With resin detailing, Shou Sugi Ban to the edges, metal legs and a wax polish finish.  

The London Plane for these coffee tables have come from sustainable forestry operations in Richmond Park. The stock has been set down to stick for 4 years and then gently kiln dried to an appropriate moisture level with in the timber. So these rounds are stable and strong and complete full rounds. 

London Plane when cross cut, milled flat and then polished is quite remarkable and with figuring of note. We have added resin detailing where required. The Shou Sugi Ban process to the edges of these rounds adds a moody twist to the intensity of these pieces. 

Substantial in size. These rounds are in excess of 3 feet and one of them larger again. Also have a finished thickness in excess of 5 inches, so are formidable coffee tables and would look fabulous in the most contemporary or traditional of spaces alike. 

We have shown these with 3 prong metal hairpin legs, however offer a range of metal legs to go with to compliment your space.
