‘Sea Shapes’ Oak & Glass Coffee Table

An exquisite Solid English Oak & Glass Coffee Table design full of sculptural presence and craftsmanship detail. One of our bespoke concept designs, it is inspired by Peter’s seafaring days and the lively character of the ocean. 

The glass top is recessed into the flowing wave-shaped oak ends, secured with natural leather washers that are fixed with chrome dome caps – in keeping with the nautical feel of the piece.

Any naturally occurring gaps in the oak has been filled with photoluminescence fillers, which in the dark give a faint impression of glowing aquamarine veins – just like a night-time seascape. The wood is subtly stained with white wax grain, and over-coated with a satin gloss coating for a durable finish.
